Pyramid nominated to Agency of the Year 2008

For the third year in a row, Pyramid was among the leaders in Agency of the Year sponsored by Swedish Regi Event and Marketing together with the Dagens Industri newspaper. The nominated agencies were in the class Midsize advertising agencies, of which Pyramid was the only nominated B2B agency.
Agency of the Year has changed the rules this year and chose the best agencies for 2008 from ten categories. The winner of each category is the agency that receives the highest total score in the questionnaires returned. This year 120 agencies were rated by just over 1900 participating buyers of agency services.
“Of course we are happy with the nomination,” says Ulf Vanselius, MD for Pyramid. “Last year we were placed ninth among the total number of participants of Agency of the Year, with an average score of 8.63 out of a possible 10. This year, consequently, we hope for an even better result, and because during the past three years in a row we were the highest ranked B2B agency in Sweden, we believe there are good possibilities for us.”
Currently Pyramid is in a strong positive trend despite generally tough market conditions. During 2008 we increased our revenue by about 25%, and at the beginning of 2009 we began cooperation with ten new customers. Officially on today’s date these include two new divisions of Atlas Copco, Rymdbolaget, DermaGen, Carpenova and Lund University Bioscience AB. Within a couple of weeks we will make public a further two or three bigger customers. In principle, this means that we have already secured activities for 2009 and can fully invest in further strengthening our position as Sweden’s most international agency,” rounds off Ulf Vanselius.
