SUN Automation Group chooses Pyramid as its new global agency

SUN Automation Group, a high-tech company headquartered in Maryland, USA, is one of the leading corrugated box equipment manufacturers in the world. The company offers all the machinery, systems and expertise needed for both flexo and digital printing. The end products are ready-punched packaging boxes in all forms and sizes to suit the increasing demand for custom product packaging.

The company is operating worldwide and has managed to build a strong brand. The next step is further expansion and introduction of new, innovative products that also open up opportunities to reach new market segments.

As part of its international expansion and to further strengthen its market position SUN chose Pyramid Communication to create a new communication platform, including a new website.

Pyramid and Petra – both nominated for Agency of the Year 2013

For the eighth year in a row, advertising agency Pyramid has been nominated for a top place in the Agency of the Year competition, conducted by Regi in cooperation with Dagens Industri and other partners. In the same competition, web agency Petra has been nominated in the category “Digital Agencies 8-15 million SEK”.

Agency of the Year designates the best agency in 14 categories. The winner in each category is the agency receiving the highest overall marks in survey responses from agency clients. 195 agencies met the qualification requirements and have been graded in over 3000 customer evaluations.

“We are naturally pleased by the nominations,” says Ulf Vanselius, CEO of both Pyramid and Petra. “It’s fantastic that both of our agencies are among the best in Sweden within their respective categories. We’re holding the banner of Helsingborg high!”

“Because Pyramid has had a high placement in the competition the past seven years, the nomination of Pyramid was no great surprise,” Vanselius continues. “In 2012 Pyramid ranked second in the category for advertising agencies in the 15-50 million range, and by our own interpretation was Sweden’s highest-ranked B2B agency. This year we naturally hope to win the category and be designated Agency of the Year again, as we were in 2009.

“The nomination of web agency Petra as one of five digital agencies in its category was a welcome surprise. We started Petra on January 1, 2012 and have seen steady development during its two years of operation, with new customers who evidently appreciate our work.”

Pyramid partner to Nordea Masters

Nordea Masters is one of the most public crowded of the 50 tournaments on the European golf tour. From 2014 and on, the tournament is organized by Lagardère Scandinavia, which also owns the ATP and WTA competitions in Båstad and arranges the IF Stockholm Open. During two years, the tournament will be played at PGA National in Bara outside of Malmö to later return to Bro Hof Slott.

In 2014, Nordea Masters will be played played May 29-June 1 and the starting field already seems to be the strongest ever. Among those to attend are global players such as Henrik Stensson, Peter Hanson and Dane Thomas Bjorn.

-By working with Nordea, our ambition is to become Europe's second biggest golf competition after the British Open. Henrik’s success will surely inspire a new generation of golfers and we are delighted that he chooses to come home and play in front of his home public, says Thomas Wallen at Lagardère Scandinavia.

Hiab selects Pyramid as partner to develop new global communication platform

Hiab is one of the world’s leading suppliers of load handling solutions for vehicles used in construction, forestry, industry, waste management, recycling and defense, among other sectors. Hiab is a part of Cargotec, which has a turnover of more than 3 billion euros and is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Hiab is in the process of developing a new business and branding strategy, which is to be further strengthened by such means as a clearer positioning, a strong brand promise and a global communication solution.

The Port of Helsingborg is overhauling its brand and communication platform

The Port of Helsingborg has selected Pyramid Communication as the agency to oversee its brand and communication platform, in order to strengthen its position as one of Sweden’s most significant ports.

Andréas Eriksson, Marketing & Information Manager for the Port of Helsingborg, explains, “For some time we’ve consciously and successfully positioned ourselves as a specialist in container traffic, and now we’re further honing our communication to show the benefit of our organization. To be tomorrow’s winner, it’s crucial that we involve and immerse our employees in creating a successful company, and that we communicate in the right way with our various target groups. We’ve engaged Pyramid in a dialogue surrounding these questions for a time, and now the time was exactly right for getting the work underway.”

At Pyramid, the cooperation with the Port of Helsingborg is viewed with great interest. “The Port of Helsingborg is at an exciting stage, where there are substantial opportunities for positioning it as an important hub for continued regional expansion.
