Axis is a world leader in network-based video surveillance cameras. Customers are reached partly through their own representation in more than 40 countries, and partly in collaboration with more than 50,000 partners worldwide.

For a decade, Axis had created a completely new product category - the digital surveillance camera - and taken a very strong position in the segment, with a market share of just over 30%. The segment now began to become so large that the major competitors began to show interest, and it was important to create relational ties to Axis in addition to product and technology.
